Chilean mussel dish à la maruja
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, onions (chopped), chicken drumsticks, chicken stock, sambal, oregano, mussels, smoked sausage (in slices), sauerkraut (chopped), spring onions (3 pieces) and in rings).

Bring 1.5 liters of water to the boil with half of the onion, chicken drumsticks, chicken stock cube, 1 tablespoon of sambal and 1 tablespoon of oregano.

Let the broth cook for 30 minutes.

Remove the chicken drumsticks from the stock and sieve the stock afterwards, stir in the rest of the onion, sambal and oregano.

Wash the mussels, remove open mussels that do not close after a tap on the counter.

Place a layer of mussels, a few chicken drumsticks, a layer of smoked sausage and bacon, a layer of mussels, another layer of chicken, smoked sausage and bacon and pour the chicken broth onto it.

Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Note: the mussels do not have to be dried out! Serve the mussels with fresh forest rings, drink the broth after all mussels and meat have been eaten.
