Chop the onion and cut the pepper into strips.

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion 1 min. Add the peppers and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the tomato cubes, mix for chili con carne and the water. Bring to the boil while stirring and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Scoop occasionally.

Add the beans, corn and ham and heat for another 3 minutes. Scoop occasionally.

Spread over the plates and sprinkle with the cheese.
