Chinese tofu with sweet and sour sauce
- 450 gram tofu
- 3 tablespoon cornstarch
- 4 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 2 spring / forest onion
- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil for the sauce
- 1 onion for the sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger for the sauce
Allow the tofu to drain well and pat dry with kitchen paper. Roll the cubes in the cornstarch.
Heat the oil and fry the tofu golden brown and crisp. Mix the fried tofu with the sweet and sour sauce and sprinkle with the spring onions.
Tasty with broccoli, cauliflower or snow peas.
