Chocolate Cake With Walnuts

Preheat the oven to 160ºC. Grease the spring form and coat the bottom with parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate and butter au bain-marie or 2-3 minutes in the microwave at 400 Watt. Beat 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and the instant coffee through the melted chocolate.

Beat the eggs and sugar in a separate bowl until a light cream. Grind half of the walnuts into flour and chop the rest into pieces.

Spat the flour and the pieces through the egg mixture and mix in the chocolate mixture. Spoon this batter into the mold.

Bake for 40-45 minutes in the middle of the oven until the top is dry. Switch off the oven and allow the cake to cool in the oven.

Remove the edge of the spring form. Sprinkle the cake with icing sugar and the rest of the cocoa.
