A delicious Dutch recipe for a chocolate breastplate.

Coat the inside of the mold or the molds thinly with butter. Place the shape (s) on a sheet of baking paper.

Sift the icing sugar so that all the lumps have disappeared.

Heat the milk in a saucepan at a fairly low setting. Stir in the caster sugar with a wooden spoon. Let this mixture boil gently for 1 minute.

Remove the pan from the heat source and quickly stir in the icing sugar and the cocoa powder.

Pour this mixture in the form or shapes. Allow the breastplate to cool down and harden.
