Chocolate chip cookies
Basic recipe for chocolate chip cookies with dark chocolate.
Cut the chocolate coarsely.
Beat the butter (at room temperature) with the caster sugar and the granulated sugar with the hand mixer until it is well mixed. This takes about 30 seconds.
Add the egg and beat until smooth. This takes about 30 seconds.
Sift the flour and spatula together with the salt and baking soda through the butter mixture. Splash the chocolate through. Knead briefly.
Cover with cling film and leave at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Divide the dough into 8 balls.
Divide the dough balls with sufficient space between the baking sheet. Press them flat with your fingers untidy to a biscuit of Ø 10 cm.
Let cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Do not let them get too brown, then they are no longer 'chewy'. Allow to cool.
