Cider sauce with apples
A nice English recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: firm apple (eg Jazz), butter, light brown sugar, cider (230 ml) and nutmeg.

Peel the apple, remove the core and cut into pieces. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the apple pieces for 4 min. On medium heat. Add the sugar and salt and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sugar is golden brown (caramelised).

Extinguish with the cider and let the sauce boil for 7 minutes. Season with the nutmeg, pepper and salt. Delicious with fried pork fillets and puree.
