Clafoutis of green asparagus with chaumes
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: green asparagus, cornstarch, whole milk, eggs, chaumes cheese ((150 g), in slices) and coriander seeds (slightly bruised).
Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Cut the hard bottom of the asparagus and peel a bit of the asparagus from the bottom if they feel a bit dry or woody. Boil the asparagus in plenty of boiling water with a little salt in approx. 4 minutes. Rinse them in a sieve under cold running water and let them drain well.
Stir in a bowl the cornstarch with a little milk to a paste. Beat the rest of the milk and the eggs through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish and place the asparagus in the egg mixture. Place the slices of Chaumes on them and sprinkle the coriander seeds over it.
Place the dish on the grate in the middle of the oven and fry the clafoutis in approx. 35 min. Until golden brown and done.
Let the clafoutis cool slightly. Tasty with a salad of young leaf lettuce.
