Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Heat the milk in a pan, scrape the marrow from the vanilla pod and add this marrow to the milk.
  3. Add the butter and heat for 2 minutes at a low setting without cooking. Allow to cool down.
  4. Beat the eggs with 60 grams of sugar and a pinch of salt frothy. Then add the flour and half of the almonds and mix well. Slowly pour the milk into a smooth batter.
  5. Sprinkle the bottom of the baking dish with the blue berries and pour the batter over it.
  6. Mix the remaining almond shavings with 20 grams of sugar in a dish. Put the dish in the oven for about 45 minutes and sprinkle the last 10 minutes of the oven time with the almond mixture.
  7. Let the clafoutis cool down and then put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Cut for serving in points.
