Ingredients
Directions
-
Roast the lemon, grate the yellow skin and squeeze it out. Sift the flour into a bowl and add the lemon zest and sugar.
-
Cut the butter into cubes. Knead the butter through the flour mixture until a smooth dough is created.
-
Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator until use.
-
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
-
Well the raisins in lukewarm water. Peel the apples, halve and cut into quarters. Remove the clock houses and cut the parts into blocks.
-
Drop some lemon juice over the apples (this prevents discoloration). Spoon the raisins with the custard, cinnamon, sugar and the apple pieces.
-
Grease the spring form. Roll out three quarters of the dough on a floured countertop and cover the spring form.
-
Cut the bread into cubes and put the pieces of bread on the bottom. Divide the apple-raisin mixture over here.
-
Roll the remaining dough thin rolls and place them in a checkered pattern on the cake.
-
Mix the apricot jam with the hot water and spread the cake with it. Bake the apple pie in approx. 60 minutes until done.
