Mix the flour and baking soda in a bowl. Add the egg and the buttermilk and mix with a hand mixer to a smooth batter.

Cut the fudge into cubes, add and mix well.

Heat the waffle iron and pour a large tablespoon of batter into the mold. Bake the waffles for about 2 minutes until golden brown. Repeat until the batter is finished.

Serve the waffles with a roll of vanilla ice cream.
