Leave the ice in the fridge for half an hour until it is softer.

Stir the coconut milk evenly through the ice and put it in the freezer. Allow the ice to freeze for at least 2 hours.

Heat the sugar with the butter until the sugar starts to caramelize and turns golden brown.

Cut the bananas into thick slanted slices and carefully place them in the caramel. Beware of splashes, the caramel is piping hot! .

Turn off the heat source and shake gently with the pan so that the caramel spreads over the bananas.

Spoon the ice cream into bowls and add hot caramel banana slices. Sprinkle with roasted coconut.
