Cod from the oven with a hazelnut crunch

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

Dab the cod fillet dry and sprinkle both sides with salt and a little white pepper.

Coat the bottom of the baking dish with butter and place the fish on it.

Fold the slices of ham around them from above.

Fry the fish around 15 (thin pieces) to 25 minutes (thick pieces) in the oven.

Heat the oil in a small frying pan over medium high heat.
-
Chop the hazelnuts, add them and shake the pan every 10 seconds.
-
Add the breadcrumbs and salt after 2 minutes and fry for a few minutes.

Remove the crunch from the pan when it is almost golden brown and allow to cool.

Remove the ham from the fish and spread over four plates.
-
Divide the fish over the ham and sprinkle with the crunch.
