Cod with pepper sauce


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, crumbly potatoes, scraped carrots (a 300 g), cod fillet (a 225 g), butter, black peppercorns, shallots, dry sherry and cooking cream (Finesse for Cooking a 250 ml).

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes, wash, cut into pieces and cook in 20 minutes.
  2. Cook the carrots for 8 minutes.
  3. Spread cod with salt and pepper.
  4. Fry 2 tablespoons of butter in frying pan and brown beans in 8 min.
  5. On both sides.
  6. Peppercorns bruise.
  7. Chop and shred the shallots.
  8. Melt 1 of the remaining butter in a saucepan of butter and shallot.
  9. Add sherry and peppercorns and cook for 1 min.
  10. Stir in the cooking cream and season to taste with salt.
  11. Brush the fish on four plates and divide the sauce.
  12. Serve with potatoes and carrots..
