Directions

  1. Halve the cucumber piece lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a spoon.
  2. Peel the carrots with a peeler.
  3. Cut the pieces of cucumber, the carrot and the piece of pepper lengthwise into thin strips.
  4. Put the slices of bread on a shelf and roll them flat with a rolling pin.
  5. Brush the slices with cream cheese or dairy spread and place the strips of vegetables on a short side.
  6. Roll the slices of bread firmly around the vegetable strips and stick the rolls with a cocktail stick.
  7. Pack each roll tightly in cling film and transport them in a lunch box.
