Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  2. Cut the roots loose from the bunch, leave a small piece of green on it.
  3. Peel the carrots with a peeler and place them side by side in the oven dish.
  4. Clean the orange under running water and dry it off.
  5. Grate the orange peel off with a fine grater.
  6. Squeeze out the orange.
  7. Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat.
  8. Spread the orange zest over the carrots and sprinkle some salt.
  9. Grind some black pepper on top.
  10. Sprinkle three quarts of tablespoons of orange juice over the carrots and pour the melted butter over.
  11. Cover the roots with a piece of parchment paper and slide the dish in the middle of the oven.
  12. Fry the carrots for a maximum of half an hour.
  13. Turn them between times.
  14. Remove the baking paper ten minutes before time.
  15. Cut the sprigs of chives with scissors into pieces of half a centimeter.
  16. Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the chives over the carrots.
