Creamy kale stew
A real Dutch kale stew with Gelderse smoked sausage, thin bacon strips and fresh cream cheese.

Cook the kale in about 20 minutes until done. put in a colander and let it drain.

In the meantime, gently bake the bacon strips on a low heat in a dry frying pan.

Heat the smoked sausage and mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the package.

Cut the cream cheese into cubes. Stir the kale, cream cheese and the bacon strips through the mash. Season with pepper and salt.

Serve the stew with the smoked sausage and mustard.
