Heat the oil and fry the pancetta until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on kitchen paper.

Bake the slices of bread in the same pan and golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper. Cut the quarters pear into 3 slices and spread the crostini with it. Crumble the pancetta over the pear and serve immediately.
