Heat the butter in a soup pot and fry the garlic and shallots for about 3 minutes. Add the peas and stock and warm for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, bake the bacon crisp in a dry, hot frying pan. Mash the peas with a hand blender into a smooth soup, stir in the whipped cream and season with salt and pepper.

Serve in glasses with a spoonful of yoghurt and bacon.
