Czech pork steaks
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, self-rising flour (sieved extra for pollinating), egg (beaten), salt, semi-skimmed milk, butter, fillet steaks (a la minute (300 g)), onions (in rings), caraway seed and sauerkraut (500 g).

Put the flour, egg and salt in a bowl. Add the milk little by little, using a mixer with dough hooks. Knead to a smooth but not sticky dough. With the floured hands, form 8 balls of the dough. Cook the dumplings for 10 minutes in plenty of salted water.

In the meantime, heat the butter in a frying pan. Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper and bake 2 minutes. Turn halfway. Take out of the pan. Fry the onion for 3 minutes in the remaining shortening. Add the caraway seed and sauerkraut with liquid. Place the meat on the sauerkraut. Stew with the lid on the pan 8 min. Spread the sauerkraut with the meat over 4 plates. Serve with the dumplings.
