Dutch meatballs with soy sauce
View this recipe and vary on the classic Dutch meatball; season it with soy sauce.

Crumble the rusks. Mix the mince with the soy sauce, mustard, rusks and the egg and knead well. Turn 12 balls with wet hands.

Cut the onions into pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the balls with the onions over medium heat around brown.

Turn the heat down and let the balls in half with the lid half done on the pan. Turn them regularly and also spoon the onions.

Cut the head lettuce into pieces and place on a dish. Mix the soy sauce with the red wine vinegar and whisk in the oil. Pour the dressing over the lettuce.

Divide the balls over 4 plates. Season the onions with the soy sauce and scoop the onion over the balls. Serve with the lettuce.
