At the bottom of the coconut (the round and not the pointy top) cut some of the bark away so that you feel that you almost cut on the flesh.

Then three circles appear, the 'eyes'. Prick these with the tip of a knife and put the coconut upside down over a bowl to collect the coconut water. Crunch the coconut with, for example, a hammer and scrape out the flesh.

Add a dash of rose syrup to taste to the coconut juice and pour in the sliced flesh through it. Fill 4 glasses and add shaved ice, ice cubes or crushed ice. Serve with a straw.
