Fast Indonesian rendang with coconut milk, beef strips and green beans.

Directions

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packaging, but instead of water, use 100 ml coconut milk per person and 30 ml water per person.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the beef strips on high heat in 3 minutes brown.
  3. Remove the stalk and the tip of the green beans and halve the beans.
  4. Pour in the sauce and let it simmer for another 5 minutes on low heat.
  5. Cook the green beans in a pan with plenty of water and salt in 5 minutes until al dente.
  6. Divide the coconut rice over the plates and serve with the rendang and vegetables.
