Fish pasties with leek
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, olive oil, ready-to-eat leeks, cod fillet (in 4 equal pieces), lemon juice, Italian herbs ((frozen), finely chopped), puff pastry (thawed), egg (egg yolk whipped off (protein is not used)) , chicory (leaves detached) and sweet chili sauce.

Preheat the oven to 200 ºC.

Heat up in wok oil and pre-bake leeks in 3-4 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Rub cod with salt, pepper, 1 tbsp lemon juice and Italian herbs.

Grease the baking sheet with parchment paper and place 4 slices of puff pastry at a distance from each other.

Pour a quarter of leek in the middle of each slice of puff pastry and place a piece of cod on it.

Cover with other slices of puff pastry and seal well at edges (if necessary with a fork make a nice stripe).

Pack packages with egg yolk and sprinkle with salt.

Bake the baking plate in the middle of the oven and bake patties in a 20-25 min.

Crunchy and brown.

Place pâtés on four plates and place chicory leaves around them.

Dice the chili sauce with the rest of lemon juice and drizzle over chicory..
