A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, kidney beans (660 g), winter carrots (250 g), potatoes (firm cooking), onions (in rings), smoked bacon (piece), smoked sausage (Gelders (350 g)), gold garnets ( peeled and cores removed) and butter.

Directions

  1. Put the beans in a colander, rinse them with cold water and let them drain.
  2. Bring them to a boil in a large pan with 300 ml of water.
  3. Peel the winter carrots and potatoes and cut into coarse slices.
  4. When the water is almost boiling, add the carrot, potato and onion rings to the kidney beans.
  5. Cut the bacon into large pieces, put it in the pan and cook the whole in 20 minutes until done.
  6. Prepare the smoked sausage according to the instructions on the packaging, let it cool slightly and cut into slices.
  7. Cut the apples into cubes and put them in the pan with the smoked sausage.
  8. Cover everything, add pepper and salt to taste and let heat for 10 minutes on low heat.
  9. Stir in the butter just before serving and spread over 4 plates..
