Flemish pancakes with ice cream


A tasty recipe. The vegetarian dessert contains the following ingredients: milk, eggs (M), vanilla sugar, orange liqueur (liquorice), flour, dark chocolate, butter or margarine, vanilla ice and sprigs of mint.

Directions

  1. Mix 2 dl of milk with eggs, sugar and liqueur. Sift flour and stir until smooth. Heat the rest of the milk in a small pan. Cut the chocolate into pieces and roast in warm milk so that sauce is formed, not boiled. Keep the sauce warm by placing pan in a larger saucepan with a layer of hot water (= au bain marie).
  2. Allow butter to melt in pan. Mash the batter with the ladle in the pan and turn the pan so that the batter is distributed over the entire bottom and the thin pancake is formed. Pancake on medium heat approx. 1 minute on both sides light brown baking and keep warm under aluminum foil. Cook 7 pancakes in the same way. Place 2 pancakes on each plate, pour ice on them and fold in half. Then create chocolate sauce and garnish with mint.
