French potato cheese puree
A tasty French recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: crumbly potatoes (eg Eigenheimer, bag 3 kg), garlic (chopped), Gruyère ((cheese), grated) and butter (at room temperature).

Peel the potatoes and cut into equal pieces. Cook in 20 minutes with little water and salt until tender.

Drain and allow to dry for 2 minutes on a hotplate on low heat. If you cook electrically or induction, you can let the puree dry at the lowest setting. Puree the potatoes with the puree cutter.

Add the garlic and cheese in parts. Stir with a wooden spoon until the puree is thick and smooth. Stir in the butter at the last minute. Season with pepper.
