Directions

  1. Break the egg into a deep plate and knock it loose.
  2. Cut the vanilla pod open and scoop out the vanilla.
  3. Add it to the egg.
  4. Beat also the milk and the brown sugar.
  5. Take the slices of bread through the egg and ensure that both sides are covered with the egg mixture. Leave for a moment.
  6. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and brown the sandwiches on both sides.
  7. Divide them over the plates, halve them and sprinkle with icing sugar, lemon zest and mint.
  8. Serve roll vanilla ice cream and some fresh fruit with a roll of bread.
