Fries cheese puffs


A tasty Dutch recipe. The appetizer contains the following ingredients: butter, flour, egg, Frisian nail cheese ((piece), grated), plum jam (pot 370 g) and red wine vinegar.

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Bring 100 ml of water with the butter to the boil. When the water boils, add the flour at once and stir well with a whisk. Warm for 2 min. On low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
  2. Break the egg above and stir until it is absorbed. Mix in half of the cheese and add salt and pepper.
  3. Use a teaspoon to spoon 16 small mounds on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and bake until golden brown in the middle of the oven for about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the jam with the vinegar and 1 tbsp water and add pepper and salt. Remove the puffs from the oven, allow to cool slightly and serve with the plum dip.
