A tasty Spanish recipe. The vegetarian appetizer contains the following ingredients: Spanish red wine, sugar, cloves, bay leaf, prunes and dried figs.

Directions

  1. Put the wine, sugar, cloves and the bay leaf in a pan.
  2. Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the prunes and figs.
  4. Let marinate from the fire for at least 2 hours.
  5. Remove the fruit from the wine and bring the wine to a boil.
  6. Leave to reduce in 5 minutes to syrup.
  7. Pour over the fruit.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. Delicious with old cheese.
  10. You can prepare this dish one week earlier.
  11. Keep covered in the refrigerator and allow to reach room temperature before serving..
