Fruit in wine syrup
A tasty Spanish recipe. The vegetarian appetizer contains the following ingredients: Spanish red wine, sugar, cloves, bay leaf, prunes and dried figs.

Put the wine, sugar, cloves and the bay leaf in a pan.

Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Add the prunes and figs.

Let marinate from the fire for at least 2 hours.

Remove the fruit from the wine and bring the wine to a boil.

Leave to reduce in 5 minutes to syrup.

Pour over the fruit.

Allow to cool.

Delicious with old cheese.
