Mussels gratin

A tasty recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: fish, ready-to-cook mussels, old white bread, zachteroomboter, garlic (squeezed), fresh parsley (finely chopped), grated spiced cheese (eg old cheese or grana padano) and coarse sea salt.

Directions

  1. Wash and check mussels thoroughly. Remove mussels and open specimens that do not close after a firm tap. Cook mussels with adherent water in closed (mussel) pan for 7-8 minutes, until all the shells are open. Discard unopened mussels and allow mussels to cool in pan. Meanwhile, crumble bread in a kitchen machine. Pound butter, garlic, parsley, cheese, 1-2 tbsp mussel casserole, salt and pepper through breadcrumbs. Break off the upper shell of each mussel. Place shell halves on baking tray or in low baking dish (possibly on low sea salt, against falling over). Spread the crumb mixture on each mussel with teaspoon and lightly press down.
  2. Preheat oven to 225 ° C. Place mussels about 10 minutes in the middle of the oven, until the top is golden brown. Serve warm.
