Add all ingredients together in a pan or refractory bowl.

Put the bowl on the barbecue.

The barbecue must be ready for indirect heating and between 120 and 140 degrees Celsius.

For a tasty smoke add some small pieces of wood and 1 or 2 used vanilla pods.

Leave the pan on the barbecue for 20 minutes with the barbecue lid on.

Remove the pan from the barbecue, remove the vanilla pod and mix it with the hand blender.

Serving lukewarm with an ice-cold scoop of raspberry sorbet.
