Gado gado with homemade peanut sauce

Cut the green cabbage into broad strips and cut the carrot into long slices.

Divide the vegetables with the cauliflower in a steam basket and hang them in the steamer or in the steamer over a layer of boiling water.

Steam the vegetables in ten minutes al dente.

Grind the peanuts in the food processor, there may be pieces in it.

Heat the oil in a small pan and gently fry the garlic.

Stir in the peanuts and sambal and fry briefly.

Then add the water and bring to the boil while stirring.

Allow the peanut sauce to simmer for ten minutes until the sauce is of good thickness.

Add some water if necessary.

Finally stir in the soy sauce.

Let the vegetables drain for a moment, spread them over four plates and spoon the peanut sauce over it.
