Kitchen Stuff
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 170 ° C. Put the butter in a large bowl and add the crushed sprinkles, the granulated sugar and the salt.
-
Beat with a mixer in 5 min. White and airy. Add 1 to 1 eggs. Only add the next egg if the previous one is completely included.
-
Clean the lemon and grate the yellow skin and squeeze out the fruit. Add the grater and 2 tbsp juice to the batter. Mix in the crème fraîche.
-
Sift the self-raising flour and the baking soda over the batter and spatula through it. Line the bottom of the spring forms with baking paper.
-
Grease the sides of the mold with butter and dust with the extra flour. Divide the batter over the 2 forms.
-
Bake the cakes in approx. 35-40 min. Golden brown and done. Check with a skewer for doneness.
-
If this comes out clean, the cake is done. Allow the cakes to cool to room temperature in the mold.
-
In the meantime, mix the yellow cream powder with the milk in a bowl. Put the yellow cream in the refrigerator until use.
-
In the meantime, halve the cake bottoms with a bread knife or a piece of floss. See video! .
-
From the center of 2 cake halves, make a round of 6 cm with the protrusion.
-
Place a bottom without a hole on a cake dish and brush with ⅓ of the yellow cream. Sprinkle with the colored sprinkles.
-
Place a bottom with a hole and brush the cake with ⅓ of the yellow cream and sprinkle again with the colored sprinkles.
-
Put another bottom with a hole in the middle and brush with the yellow cream.
-
Now complete the hole with colored sprinkles. Place the last (whole) cake base with the most flat side up.
-
Mix the mascarpone with the rest of the mashed sprinkles.
-
Brush the cake around and on top with the mascarpone with a palette knife. Hold 1 tbsp mascarpone separately.
-
Roll out and place it over the cake. Spread the cake as smoothly as possible. Cut away the excess fondant at the bottom.
-
Knead 3 rolls of yellow marzipan and form a kind of eggs. These become the bodies of the bees.
-
Draw dashes and a face with the chocostift. Put 4 pieces of almond shavings in the top of each body as wings.
-
Write with the chocos on top of the cake: what will it bee. Also draw a whimsical dotted line that ends on top of the cake.
-
Stick a bee with a little mascarpone at the end of the line. Stick the rest of the bees and the decoration flowers on the cake.
