Gnocchi with butter, sage and cheese

Put the butter in a saucepan and melt on very low heat.

In the meantime, cook the gnocchi according to the instructions on the package. Drain.

Scoop the foam with a slotted spoon of the butter.

Pour the butter into a frying pan. Leave the milky liquid (the white spots in the fat) behind in the saucepan. The butter is now nicer.

Remove the leaves from the sage. Heat the butter in the frying pan and fry the sage for 2 min.

Add the gnocchi and cook for 1 min. Grate half of the cheese over it and cook for another 1 min.

Grate the rest of the cheese at the table.
