Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
-
Peel the potatoes and cut into slices as thin as possible. You can also plan them in thin slices with a cheese slicer, peeler or food processor.
-
Grease the oven dish with oil or butter. Clean the garlic and cut finely. Ris the leaves of the sprigs of thyme.
-
Mix the garlic and the leaves of thyme through the potato, sprinkle with (freshly ground) pepper and salt if necessary and spread over the oven dish.
-
Pour the cream over it and sprinkle with the cheese.
-
Fry the potato gratin in the middle of the oven for about 75 minutes until golden brown and done.
-
Cover after approx. 30 min loosely with aluminum foil so that the gratin is not too dark.
-
After 50 minutes, check that the gratin is cooked. This is the case if you can easily insert a knife completely. Garnish with the rest of the sprigs of thyme.
