Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper.

Cut the onions in half rings, the pepper in strips and the garlic fine.

Heat the butter in a soup pan and fry the meat in brown for 3 minutes.

Fry the onion, garlic and paprika for 5 minutes.

Add the paprika powder, flour and tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the water with the bouillon tablets and bay leaf and bring to the boil. Leave to cook for 2 ½ hours on low heat.

Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Add and cook for 30 minutes.
