Grandmother's meatballs


Meatballs of white bread, milk, onion, mince, egg, salt and nutmeg.

Directions

  1. Cut the crusts of the bread and place in a deep plate. Pour the milk over and let it soak for 2 minutes.
  2. Chop the onion. Put the minced meat in a bowl. Squeeze the bread, add and break the egg above it.
  3. Knead well with the onion, salt, nutmeg and some pepper.
  4. Divide the minced meat into one portion per person and form round balls with lightly moist hands.
  5. Put the breadcrumbs in a deep plate and roll the meatballs through them until they are completely covered.
  6. Heat the butter in a frying pan and let it fry. Fry the balls over high heat around golden brown.
  7. Turn carefully. Turn the heat down. Allow the meatballs to be cooked for about 25 minutes, regularly.
