Green bean soup


A tasty Dutch recipe. The starter contains the following ingredients: poultry, chicken breast, fresh thyme (a 15 g), bay leaf, mace, broad beans (frozen, 300 g), bacon, lemon juice, green beans (in three), snow peas (halved), garden peas (frozen) and stoneleeks (in pieces of 1 cm).

Directions

  1. Fill the chicken breast in pan with 4 sprigs of thyme, bay leaf, mace and pepper to taste with 1 1/2 liters of cold water.
  2. Bring to the boil for 30 minutes on a low heat.
  3. In the meantime remove from gray beans from broad beans.
  4. Cut bacon into thin strips.
  5. Remove chicken and herbs with skimmer from stock.
  6. Broth to taste with 1 tbsp salt, some lemon juice and pepper to taste.
  7. Add green beans, snow peas and garden peas and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Cut the chicken into cubes and stir in soup with broad beans, stoneleeks and strips of bacon.
  9. Soup in a gentle heat for 4-6 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle leaves from the rest of sprigs of thyme and stir in soup..
