Green beans with mackerel

A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, potatoes (slightly crumbly), green beans (stalk of potatoes and dots removed), lemon (scrubbed), smoked mackerel (345 g), crème fraîche (125 ml), spring onions (3 pieces) and in rings).

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces and boil them in water with salt in 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Halve the beans and cook in approx. 8 min. Until al dente. Grate the yellow skin of the lemon and squeeze out the fruit. Remove the skin and the bones from the mackerel and divide the fish into pieces.
  3. Drain the potatoes, add the crème fraîche and stamp with the puree pestle into a coarse puree. Season with salt and pepper. Add the green beans, the lemon zest and the spring onion. Add lemon juice to taste and scoop. Divide the stew over 4 plates and serve with the mackerel.
