Directions

  1. Chop 1 onion finely and cut the other onions in ½ cm thick rings. Finely chop the capers and the parsley. Mix the mince in a bowl with capers, parsley and a sixth of the chopped onion.
  2. Add some salt and pepper and knead everything well together. Divide the minced meat so that each person has 1 portion and form it into burgers. Let the citizens lie down for a moment.
  3. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into cubes. Heat half of the olive oil in a pan and fry the remaining chopped onion, cubes of sweet potato and thyme for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add 100 ml of potatoes, 12.5 ml of water with a little salt, and smother the sweet potato covered in a gentle simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat the remaining olive oil in a frying pan and bake the burgers in brown and cooked for 4-6 minutes. Keep them warm between 2 plates. Bake the onion rings in the shortening in 3-4 minutes brown.
  6. Mix the sweet potatoes with the hand blender into a smooth puree. Heat the puree while stirring until the thickness is good. Put the sweet mashed potatoes on plates with the hamburgers next to them. Divide the onions over the burgers. Delicious with a salad of celeriac and walnuts.
