Traditional Dutch dairy dessert with warm blueberry sauce.

Directions

  1. Cover a sieve with a damp, clean tea towel and hang in a deep bowl.
  2. Pour in the yogurt, cover and put in the refrigerator for 8 hours so that the liquid can leak from the yogurt.
  3. Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the marrow with a knife tip.
  4. Beat the whipped cream with the sugar. Scoop the heap from the tea towel into a bowl and stir. Fold in the vanilla and the whipped cream.
  5. Put the blackberries with syrup, berries and the rest of the sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boil.
  6. Stir the cornstarch with the water to a smooth mixture. Add to the blackberries and berries and leave to stir on high heat. Take of the fire.
  7. Divide the hops over the dishes and pour the warm sauce.
