Haricots verts in kitten bacon

Cut the tips of the haricots verts and boil the beans in a pan with plenty of water and salt in 6-8 minutes until al dente. Rinse them in a colander under cold running water and let them drain well.

In the meantime, clean the peppers and cut them lengthwise into thin strips (5 mm). Heat half of the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the pepper bars in 2-3 minutes.

Make with the slices of bacon the same number of bundles of haricots verts, yellow and red peppers and wrap each bundle in a slice of bacon.

Before serving, heat the remaining olive oil in a large frying pan and fry the bundles until the bacon is browned and the beans and peppers are warm. Delicious with steak with mango gravy or cod with crayfish from the oven.
