Haricots verts with pesto butter and almond

Boil the haricots verts (or green beans or snow peas) in 5-7 minutes.

Mix the pesto, salt and freshly ground pepper through the butter.

Roast the shaved almonds (or chopped hazelnuts) in a dry hot frying pan.

Drain the haricot verts. Mix in the pesto butter and serve the beans sprinkled with the almonds.

Tasty with pork, turkey or chicken.
