Directions
-
                                Grease a 2-liter cake tin.
-
                                Preheat the oven to 160 ° C.
-
Cut open the vanilla pod and scrape out the black marrow with a knife.
-
In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar with the hand mixer to an airy pale cream.
-
Break 0.25 part of the egg and beat this through the butter mixture until nothing more of the egg can be seen.
-
Beat the other eggs in the same way.
-
Beat the vanilla juice through it and then gradually fold in the flour.
-
Fold the orange zest and a few tablespoons orange juice through.
-
Transfer the batter into the cake tin and slide the mold into a rack under the center of the oven.
-
Fry the cake until golden brown and done in 60-75 minutes.
-
Allow the cake to cool for 5 minutes and then take it out of the mold.
-
Let the cake cool down on a grid.
-
Wrap the cake until use in aluminum foil.
-
The cake is often a day later at its best.
