Squeeze out the lemon and finely chop the garlic.

Keep 2 tbsp chickpeas apart. Mash the rest of the chickpeas with 5 tbsp water, the lemon juice, the tahini, garlic and salt with the hand blender until smooth.

Spoon the hummus in a flat dish and smooth with the convex side of a spoon. Drizzle with the olive oil.

Sprinkle the hummus with the chickpeas kept separate and the paprika.
