Heat the oven grill. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds. Place them under the hot oven grill and let them blacken. Remove them from the grill and put them in a bag that you seal or a bowl that you seal with preserving foil. After a minute or 5 you can remove the skin from the peppers.

Puree the garlic with the chickpeas, honey, tabasco to taste, (smoked) paprika and the peppers to a coarse paste.

Spoon the mixture into a shallow bowl and season with pepper. Delicious with warm pita bread.
