Heat the butter in a large frying pan and fry the meat quickly on all sides. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Pour half of the stock in the pan and bring to the boil. Temper the heat source and let the meat simmer for 30 minutes.

Then place a layer of potato slices in the pan, followed by the onions, winter carrot, leek and cabbage. Pour the rest of the stock over the vegetables and bring to the boil. Temper the heat source again and let it simmer for another 25-30 minutes.
