Directions

  1. Extra requirements: food processor.
  2. Put the kale in a colander and pour 1 liter of boiling water over it.
  3. Hose and let the kale drain well and cool completely.
  4. In the meantime, rinse the chickpeas or lentils in a colander under cold running water and allow to drain well.
  5. Put the chickpeas or lentils with the oatmeal and the orange peel in the food processor and mix everything into a solid puree.
  6. Mix the puree with salt and pepper through the kale.
  7. It must become an even mass.
  8. Mix in bit by bit the beaten egg, the mass may not be too weak.
  9. Divide the mixture into equal portions per person and form with moist hands until firm, flat burgers.
  10. Put the burgers on a plate and let the citizens in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  11. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers in 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Turn them carefully after 3-4 minutes using a spatula.
