Directions

  1. Transfer the kale to a colander and pour 1 liter of boiling water over it, so that the leaves shrink, but remain green. Let the kale drain well.
  2. Grind the pieces of bread and hazelnuts into a crumbly mixture in the food processor. Add the kale, grated cheese and 3-4 tablespoons of egg. Mix everything until it becomes sticky. Add more egg if the mixture is too dry.
  3. Distribute the kale mixture in equal portions (1 per person) and form them with moist hands to citizens.
  4. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the kale burgers in 6-8 minutes until brown and done, then turn them after 3-4 minutes.
